I wanted to get in touch to thank you for the incredible trip. I just wrote the review as requested too. From the moment I arrived until I departed, I was happy. It's easily one of the most beautiful destinations I've visited and the photos I sent home got the exact same response. I enjoyed the time with Fano too. He is a great asset and he kept me entertained on the long drives. I found the hotel inspections to be a valuable exercise to have a comparison. It's not a destination we would send anyone to for a quick educational so I am happy I saw the various options and I will be quite comfortable selling Madagascar once our product manager makes that decision. The tour was organized with care of environment. Ny Ando, he is a very good driver (which is very important taking into account bad quality of roads)? All other aspects (including choice of local guide) are also very good, very punctual, very polite and attentive. But the driving during the first day is extremely long. It is very difficult for passengers and the driver. It would be reasonable to divide it.

The tour gave me a good sense of the different environments in Madagascar. With Yves, an exceptional guide and travel companion. He was very attentive, always on time. He booked for me the best guides in the parks. He shared with me interesting aspects about the people, customs and tribes in Madagascar. He always had water available for me and provided a nice sharing at the windows of Isalo. I overworked my muscles in Isalo and being concerned for my health, he bought me some Ravintsara to apply on my muscles and this was a marvellous help to heal and continue the trip. He was very interested to learn about my work and agriculture and I feel he benefited from that. We did multiple stops on the roads to buy and see very interesting things – oils, wood spoons, papayas, fish, etc… All in all, as I mentioned earlier, I think Yves was exceptional and if I come back, I would certainly like him for him to be my guide. Also, the car was always clean and ready to go in the morning.
